Ideal disc for large herds and professional trimmers. This disc works as a finishing disc in wood, can be used to do notches, stairs, furniture or any type of finishing work. More aggressive disc than the 6-slotted carbide flat disc. Comes with 4 interchangeable inserts. Each insert has two sharpened edges that can be rotated. Averages 100 animals before inserts become dull. Inserts can be sharpened up to 3-4 times before replacement of inserts.

There are several advantages to the thin design. Because the disc is thinner the insert is exposed on the bottom side of the disc. This allows easier trimming between the toes on a hoof. The thin design makes this disc lighter than others.
